NOW!Collective Monochrome #16On the 27th & 28th of November, 2008, 66 participants created an abstract painting over 5 metres in length at a Keys St shopfront in Frankston, Victoria. This project was one in an ongoing series which Sydney based artist Billy Gruner has taken to museums, galleries and public spaces in Australia, Europe and most recently in New York. The Library ProjectFor The Library Project, Berean and Foster invited 40 artists to select a book which has been critically influential to their artistic practice. These books are then placed within the library system accompanied by statements offering an insight into each artist’s choice. The artist statements have been collated to produce a book accompanying the installation. |
